Hello friends! If you follow me on Instagram, then you probably noticed Christopher and recently took a trip over to Orlando for some Halloween Horror Nights, Galaxy’s Edge opening, and Food and Wine Festival fun. It was totally a jam-packed trip, but it was the most fun I’ve had in a while! (Despite me being dumb and bringing along just one pair of brand new shoes that were not at all broken in.)
We started off our vacay at the opening night of Halloween Horror Nights, which is something we had planned to do months ago and is something we actually did last year as well! Halloween Horror Nights is definitely our new yearly tradition, and I can’t wait to see what houses will be here next year!
One thing that we always do for Halloween Horror Nights is the Stay ‘N Scream, which basically means if you get to the park before 5 (I think?), you can stay in the park and be one of the first people to walk over to the houses. It’s really cool, and it’s way better than waiting in the lines behind the park gate. Unfortunately, we didn’t make it to Universal in time but we were able to walk over to Islands instead and ride Hagrid’s Magical Creatures Motorbike Adventure, with a wait of just 30 minutes! It was amazing, and I almost cried. We also picked up a butterbeer, because why not?
I would like to just say before you start scrolling that Christopher’s amazing tee was completely my idea, and everyone loved it. We actually got it from Forever 21! Also, Christopher is planning on writing up an HHN Houses & Scare Zones review, so look out for that!
We spent the next day at Disney, running around through the Epcot Food and Wine Festival, Hollywood Studios, Magic Kingdom, and Animal Kingdom. It was definitely a slow day at the parks because we were able to get day-of fastpasses for Na’vi, Flight of Passage, and Slinky Dog Dash!
A few months ago, we were able to snag not one, but THREE Oga’s Cantina reservations for Star Wars Galaxy’s Edge! We were obsessed with the new land, and although we aren’t huge Star War’s fans we had a great time. We didn’t have a ton of time to spend in the land, so we didn’t get to eat as much of the food as we wanted to, but we will definitely be back soon!
Oh, and we got to be pilots on Smuggler’s Run! (We did a TERRIBLE job haha.)
